Every treatment is adjusted to your current condition and follows evidence-based treatment protocols. By integrating traditional, clinical and research based knowledge, I use several modalities, including cupping, massage, infrared, electro-stimulation and fine acupuncture needles, to stimulate local and systemic relief from complex stress and chronic pain, sports and work related injury, PTSD, trauma and mental health conditions, insomnia, headaches, digestive issues and more.

Services

I use a variety of techniques such as Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Electro-Moxibustion, Reflexology, Acupressure, Hot Stone, Herbal Compress, Gua Sha, Cupping, Lymphatic Drainage and Holistic Facial Rejuvenation Techniques. My practice is informed by Traditional & Classical Chinese Medicine techniques, Sports Medicine, Advanced Balance Acupuncture, Neurobiology, and ongoing extensive studies on evidence-based research.

Acupuncture treatments may be eligible for direct billing, ICBC and/OR MSP for the acupuncture portion of the treatment.

Initial Acupuncture

An initial acupuncture session includes a comprehensive intake discussion, health history and physical assessment that will inform the treatment plan. This is followed by a diagnostic massage, acupuncture and indicated modalities such as cupping, hot stone, moxibustion and electroacupuncture.

Follow up Acupuncture

A follow up acupuncture session includes a short discussion on any improvements or changes, followed by acupressure massage, acupuncture, cupping, hot stone, moxibustion and/or electroacupuncture.

ICBC Acupuncture

Individuals who have been in a motor vehicle incident or an incident as a cyclist or pedestrian are entitled to 12 treatments for up to 12 weeks from the date of your accident.

NADA Protocol

NADA Protocol is a standardized ear acupuncture technique that was developed at the Lincoln Detox Center in Harlem as a grassroots solution to the Opioid epidemic. It is very effective to treatment for mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, PTSD, trauma, pain and withdrawal symptoms from substances such as cigarettes, alcohol and opiates. It is also used to treat chronic pain, cancer treatment related symptoms, nervous system dysregulation, and emergence response recovery for paramedics and fire fighters.

Acupuncture & Spa Therapies

Combined acupuncture and spa therapies include:

  • Microneedling & Body Acupuncture

For combined treatments, the acupuncture portion of the treatment is eligible for extended health benefits, but the remaining cost + GST cannot be billed.

Holistic Aesthetics

Holistic Facial

Following a gentle cleanase, this facial combines facial reflexology, scalp acupressure, Gua Sha, and facial cupping techniques to nourish, tonify and rejuvenate the face, head and neck. Using high-quality natural products, this facial releases toxins and tension while stimulating lymphatic drainage, collagen production and local circulation.

Facial Acupuncture

Facial acupuncture is beneficial for reducing fine lines, increasing collagen, improving muscle tone, increasing circulation and promotes a brighter complexion. It is effective to treat acne, rosacea, facial inflammation, facial neurological conditions and more.

Microneedling

Also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, microneedling is a natural, non-invasive, and effective treatment that rejuvenates the skin, hair and stimulates collagen and elastin production through the use of microscopic needles. Effective for skin conditions such as acne, pigmentation, scarring, wrinkling, as well as hair loss, hair thickening, and reducing scars and stretch marks. This treatment includes numbing cream, body acupuncture and aftercare serum.

Holistic Facials, Facial Acupuncture and Microneedling are not eligible for extended health benefits or MSP. For combined treatments, the acupuncture portion of the treatment is eligible, but the remaining cost + GST cannot be billed.
